Directed by The Handmaid’s Tale episodic director Floria Sigismondi, this movie follows a woman who chooses a life enclosed, to face her personal demons as she’s challenged to break the walls of morality. This was a visually strong film inspired by painters Bruegel and Bosch, with very detailed sets. Our opera stage set featured rotted fruit garlands, flying owls and ravens and a feast of offal. It also allowed me to venture into areas like head dress design which made it into the title card of the film.
